- Living Scrum roles
The basic idea behind this is that everyone has a field of activity in order to avoid conflicts of interest and assign responsibility. Each role has a fixed responsibility and contributes to its meaningful implementation. It is important that a clear line of responsibility for the roles is maintained. - First of all, a suitable team should be set up, which communicates well with each other and works together efficiently during the project. The aim of this is that a team works independently and self-organized.
- Therefore a Scrum Master, a Product Owner and your team of developers must be defined. It is best if the team members complement each other in terms of their knowledge so that all competencies can be covered.
- Sort Product Backlog
First of all, all requirements for the product are recorded and sorted.
In the course of time, it will be further developed and features will be added. - Perform daily standups
The standup meetings are an important part, because they promote agility and are efficient and goal-oriented. Each team member explains what was done, if there were any problems and what the challenges were. This should take a maximum of 15 minutes. In this way all team members are informed about the work of the others. - Step-by-step procedure
Due to the step-by-step procedure of the project, there is no need for extensive advance planning as with a classical approach. Even though this may require a rethinking of the team at the beginning, this agile method provides high flexibility and adaptability.
Because sprint retrospectives are held at the end of the project, feedback can always be collected, which can be incorporated in the next step.
