What does CRM mean?

CRM is the abbreviation of Customer Relationship Management. Internal processes of a company and special software solutions help to win new customers and maintain the relationship with existing customers.

Why should you use agile project management for your CRM project?CRM implementations often fail due to the long duration of the project. This is because many people from different departments are involved. Classically, the requirements of the various departments are first clarified and then the developers get started. When the users then test the solution, it is usually only noticed that the requirements no longer match those at the beginning of the project.
In agile project management, on the other hand, there is no detailed list of requirements, but only a rough structure. The details are adjusted in the course of the project. In this way, flexibility is created, which is important for project planning.

What does this mean for your CRM project?
The basis for the implementation is the product backlog, in which the requirements for the project are collected. The requirements are collected and estimated in detail within Refinement.
In the Sprints, which start with Sprint Planning, the resources and requirements are compared and the scope for the Sprint is defined by the development team. After the Sprint, a Sprint Review takes place in which the implementation is presented.

Conclusion
If the prerequisites are in place and the goal fits with agile working, the agile approach also makes sense for a CRM project. In this way, an individual CRM solution can be created that will be highly accepted by the users.
